SWAT/Sniper
Seminar — April 2 & 3, 2008
- Snipercraft,
Inc. will be holding its Educational
SWAT/ Sniper Seminar at the Radisson Hotel,
12600 Roosevelt Blvd, St. Petersburg,
FL 33716.
- This
seminar features lectures and
presentations of special interest
to snipers, SWAT personnel and supervisors.
Operational reviews, equipment,
team management, camouflage, urban
sniper tactics, legal issues and
case studies are all topics which
will be addressed in this forum.
Preparation for today's special
operations missions, and protection
against liability are key issues
addressed during the seminar. Attendance is open to any
police and military personnel who
have an interest. If you have
a SWAT team, you need to attend
this event.
- Product
vendors will also be on hand to
display the latest in tactical equipment.
- All
attendees will receive a certificate
of training.
- A
buffet lunch will be served each
day and is included in the registration
cost.
- Accommodations
for guests are being provided by
the Radisson Hotel, 727-572-7800.
Rooms will be $88
per night, single occupancy (king
bed), or $132 per night, double
occupancy (2 queen beds).
We have been guaranteed 50
double queen rooms. Beyond that,
will depend on availability. If
you are putting two people in a
room, be sure to tell the reservationist there
are two. Contact the hotel directly
for reservations and details.
- Check-in
will begin at 8:00 AM inside the
main hall. All attendees will
be asked to produce valid identification
at check-in.

Snipercraft
Team Challenge — April 4 & 5, 2008
- This
is the only event of its kind in
the nation. The Challenge will be
held at the Wyoming Antelope Club
Range, Florida Chapter,
3700 126 Avenue North, Pinellas Park, FL. (Southwest of hotel.)
- Sniper/
Observer teams will compete head-to-head
in a very challenging series of
events that have historically served
as a comprehensive training exercise
and proven to be great fun. These
courses will test and validate the
team's overall sniping skills, including
judgement, teamwork, tactics and
shooting under induced stress.
- Participation
is open only to active, certified,
police SWAT team and military personnel,
and supervisors.
- The
course will be physically and mentally
demanding and shooters should be
in good condition.
- The
Challenge will consist of two-man
sniper/observer teams. Any
single snipers who enter will be
paired up at the tournament. There
is a 60 team limit, so early registration
is recommended.
- All
participants in the tournament will
receive a commemorative T-shirt.
Prizes and trophies will be
awarded to the top seven teams.
- All
shooters will be expected to adhere
to very strict safety policies throughout
the tournament.

registration deadline is March 21,
2008. Paperwork and payment
must be received by then to reserve
your team's space. No refunds
for cancellations after March 21,
2008.
